Garden Posts
Stephen's newest series of sculptures resemble corner posts. The individual pieces each stand about 6 foot tall and vary in width and depth. They are cut from steel and have a natural rusted patina that is then treated with linseed oil and mineral spirits.
Celestial Garden Post #1
Images of the sun, moon and stars wrap around this post. Each side measures 18 inches and it features a peaked roof with a steel orb welded on top.
Garden Post #3
This Garden Post is now part of the permanent collection of the Lanthier Winery in Madison, Indiana.
Moon Post
A stainless steel silhouette of a moon is inset into one corner of this post. The post also features stainless steel stars and a radiating sun on the oposite corner.
