Silver Earrings
Carolyn uses Art Clay Silver to create original designs for earrings. Because each shape is hand cut and individually carved, the earrings are not exact copies of one another. This adds to the unique quality of each set of earrings.
Feather Drop Earrings
A feather was the inspiration for the outer shape of these earrings and designs were carved onto the unfired clay shapes. The finished pieces hang about 1 and 1/4 inches long on fish hook style earrings.
Companion Hoops
Triangular pieces of unfired Art Clay Silver provided Carolyn the blank canvases for her version of Van Gogh's Starry Night. After carving and impressing designs onto wet clay, the pieces are dried, kiln fired and hand polished. They are then suspended onto 1/2 inch sterling silver hoop earrings. They hang about 1 1/2 inches long.
Carved Circles
4mm Jade beads are suspended inside intricately carved metal clay circles. These hang on traditional sterling silver french hooks.
