Necessary Software.

1. Adobe Reader 6.0 or later. Do not use Foxit.
2. FileOpen plug-in. You may download or run it from here. If you are a MAC user, please substitute the MAC plug-in. You will find it at http://plugin.fileopen.com/plugininstallpage.html

• Be sure to close Adobe Reader first.
• Click on the link above for the plug-in.
• It will ask whether you want to run or save this file it. Click "Run."
• It will warn you "The publisher cannot be verified. Are you sure you want to run this?" Click on "Run."
• A small icon will open saying "Installation Complete." Click on "OK."

• Open the pdf file we email you.
• It should say "Registration Complete."
• Download or open the course files on the main page of this website.

Location of Files

All files are available on this website. You may download them or view them on-line.

Internet Connection

A high-speed connection is recommened for the fastest download of certain course materials. If you do not have a quick connection at home, high-speed connections are available at the law school through the wireless network (if you are in Gainesville) and several other public places. A quick web search found www.wififreespot.com, a listing of businesses and public entities that offer free wireless internet access. A more extensive search would surely find more directories such as this.

Encryption of PDF files.

All pdf files are encrypted (with the exception of the first few pages of some courses). After you pay for the course, you will receive an email notification within 24 which will include a pdf file. You should open that file while you are connected to the internet. It will unencrypt the materials for you.
If you purchase additional courses or materials, you need not run the deencryption program again. However, the courses will not be accessible by you until we have added you to them. You will receive notice of this within 24 hours of payment.

Encryption of Flash files.

All flash files will be encrypted. After you pay for the course, you will receive an email notification within 24 which will include additional instructions.
